Warda · Mother’s Day · 2026
What she was really trying to say.
With Nhebbek by Warda, we revisited mothers’ gestures through time. What annoyed yesterday can become what’s most missed today.

THE IDEA
Let time reveal the love behind the words.
The film opens with familiar gestures: a fridge door, a garment before stepping out, a presence at the bedside. Their meaning evolves with the character’s age, ending with the memory of an absent mother.
The story’s progression gives the message its power. Viewers can recognise their own lives before the invitation to say I love you arrives. Warda connects its message of affection to a reason to say it now.
THE FILM
Nhebbek, simply.
The film makes love recognizable in the gestures we sometimes notice too late. Nhebbek names what those gestures were already telling.
